Pledge for the Planet is an environmental charity on a mission to ignite community spirit to power collective climate action to help restore the planet for future generations. Their action-as-currency platform empowers users to “action-raise” by making sustainable behaviour swaps, called “Pledges,” as a way to support or participate in events. Each pledge aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, and the platform tracks the emissions and waste saved per pledge, pooling collective pledges to show how individual actions add up to a powerful collective impact.Sport is their chosen catalyst for change, bringing together communities like sports and running clubs, major events, and corporations to get active for climate action. Participants make pledges, challenge one another, and track their collective impact.
